The Carrera de Indias Museum association was invited to enjoy the magnificent sessions on the role of Cantabria in the Carrera de Indias in the coastal city of Laredo, Cantabria.
A good group from the MUCAIN team traveled there to actively participate in the activities and conferences organized by the host.
The association El Palenque de Laredo, with Marian Riñones Cañizo as its president, warmly welcomed the entire team, attendees, and speakers of these sessions with typical Cantabrian hospitality.
Taking advantage of the trip to Cantabrian lands, the MUCAIN team members took the opportunity to visit the different key locations where the Carrera de Indias played a prominent role, such as the royal shipyards, the cannon factory in La Cavada, and the local ports.
