Carrera de Indias, S.L. has been honoured with the Acueducto 2025 Award

On Saturday, 28 June 2025, the Earth Awards 2025 ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Royal Academy of History and Art of San Quirce.
These awards, presented by the Segovian Centre of Madrid, aim to recognise individuals, organisations, associations and institutions that have excelled in promoting the development, heritage and identity of Segovia.

Ricardo A. Fernández, as founding partner and representative of the company Carrera de Indias, S.L., received the Acueducto 2025 Award, which is given to the company or organisation that stands out for implementing innovative technologies or processes from Segovia.

Other award recipients this year included:

“De La Tierra” Awards, organised by the Segovian Centre of Madrid, aim to recognise individuals, organisations, associations and institutions that have contributed to the development, promotion and identity of Segovia and its community.

Award Centro Segoviano
Special award recognising an organisation’s longstanding contribution to the value and heritage of Segovia
Award Alcázar de Segovia
Recognises the individual who has distinguished themselves in the promotion of Segovia’s historical and cultural heritage.
Award Acueducto
Presented to the company or organisation recognised for its implementation of innovative technologies or processes originating in Segovia
Award Tierra de Pinares
Awarded to the organisation recognised for its outstanding contribution to preserving the environment in Segovia
Award Comunidad de Villa y Tierra
Awarded to associations or collectives dedicated to reinforcing the communities of Segovia

Award Gastronomía Segoviana
Awarded to restaurants or agri-food enterprises that have actively advanced the culinary heritage of Segovia
Award Tradiciones Segovianas
Awarded to individuals or groups dedicated to promoting and preserving Segovian traditions and folklore

Twelve members, chaired by the President of the Segovian Centre of Madrid, including heads of various departments and representatives of the 2024 award recipients.

The Segovian Centre of Madrid

The Segovian Centre of Madrid has been a cornerstone for over a century. Founded on 6 May 1920, it is the home for Segovians in the capital city and aims to be a meeting point for Segovians scattered around the world, as well as for anyone who feels a connection or affection for this land — one of the nine provinces that make up Castilla y León.
