The President of the Museum of the Carrera de Indias Association will be one of the speakers at this international hub for innovation and technological entrepreneurship in Castilla y León.
Ricardo will present the details of those 16th-century entrepreneurs who managed to change the course of the world thanks to their knowledge, developed technology, and, above all, the innovative ideas of a great group of intellectuals who built the largest and longest-lasting enterprise humanity has ever known.
This event will serve as a launchpad for MUCAIN, where the project will attract investors, businesses, partners, and new collaborators who, by joining forces, will help take the Museum to the seas, the skies, or as they say in the hallways… to the cloud!

The event will feature an extensive list of freelancers, microenterprises, worker cooperatives, and startups, as well as investors, prominent companies, and public representatives from both Segovia and across the country. The second of these sessions will also include a startup fair, a pitch competition for startups, and networking activities between startups and investors.
The main objectives of this event are for the participating startups to “connect with various corporations and investors to secure investment and clients.” Additionally, it aims to “promote and foster talent, digitalisation, and an entrepreneurial culture without leaving anyone behind, while impacting younger generations, women, rural areas, and the unemployed population, encouraging them to become active players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and addressing the reduction of social gaps in the technological environment.”
